Feature Areas

Each year, the Power of Age Expo features many special themed areas to delight and inform attendees on an array of topics. The following special features include the very best in resources, products and entertainment for the Power of Age Expo's celebration. The feature areas address all aspects of aging.

Senior Centers

South Hall–Booth 3007

Reimagine Aging within the Senior Center Area in the South Hall. The information booth provides the newsletters for all 20 Baltimore County Senior Centers for you to peruse at your leisure. A travel brochure will highlight the 2018 trips planned through each center council.

Are you “Hungry for Health"? Answer some nutrition questions at the Nutrition Booth and you could be the “Star of the Supermarket” when you play the new Fall Game and win prizes and giveaways. Or you may want to stop at the Fitness Booth and learn your body fat percentage and grip strength. Watch the short video highlighting the evidence-based classes in the senior centers. Enjoy a conversation about your health and wellness with a fitness trainer. Brochures and information about the Fitness Centers and Studios will be available.

Reimagine Aging

North Hall–Booth 2007

One new feature area will highlight our annual initiative of Reimagine Aging. When you think of aging, what does it look like? The media often portrays it as a negative experience, but we know better! Join the Baltimore County Department of Aging as we challenge the stereotypes of getting older and celebrate our later years.

At the expo, we will highlight individuals in our community who are making a difference as they age and offer resources to grow older successfully! The Reimagine Aging feature area will offer exhibits and activities that will help everyone to Reimagine Aging!

Baltimore County Public Library Technology

North Hall–Booth 2006

The Baltimore County Public Library (BCPL) feature area will provide attendees with an awareness of everything the library system now offers in the County.
